About
Dr Daron Seukeran is a Consultant Dermatologist at the James Cook University Hospital with over 25 years experience. He has held the posts of Clinical Director or Dermatology and Group Medical Director of the laser service both in London and Teesside. He speaks Nationally and Internationally on Dermatology and particularly about laser surgery.
He has published widely particularly in the areas of Acne, rosacea and laser surgery. He has been an author of the British association of Dermatology national guidelines for the treatment of rosacea and photodynamic therapy.
Dr Seukeran can offer assistance, with a wide range of skin diseases.
He undertakes General Dermatology Clinics seeing patients with eczema, psoriasis and acne. Surgical clinics dealing with benign cysts , moles as well as dealing with skin cancers particularly with Basal cell carcinomas, Squamous cell carcinomas and Melanoma.
He has a particular interest in Acne and has published in this area, and been part of a National Working group on Acne.
His subspecialty expertise is in laser surgery and is one of the leading UK experts, in the areas of laser resurfacing for acne scarring as well as for other scars, birthmarks and rosacea and has developed a regional centre for laser surgery in the North East.
