About
Dr Jaskiran Azad is a Consultant Dermatologist, who undertook her training in India and then undertook further training in the UK in Glasgow, Durham and Middlesbrough. She has held a consultants post since 2008 and currently runs her NHS practice from The James Cook University Hospital. She also holds a regional vulval service weekly clinic in dermatology and monthly combined clinic with gynaecology.
Dr Azad specialises in head and neck surgery, running weekly surgical lists.
Dr Azad is involved with the training and teaching of junior doctors in both dermatology and gynaecology. She is also involved in national level research activities.
Dr Azad has been the clinical lead and clinical director of dermatology department since 2001.
