About
Professor Viswanath is a recognised General, Upper Gastrointestinal, laparoscopic and endoscopic Surgeon, who has been practicing for over 15 years.
His specialist skills include all forms of hernia and gall stone surgery. He also offer treatment for acid reflux, hiatus hernias and achalasia.
Professor Viswanth was the first surgeon to establish STRETTA (endoscopic anti-reflux radio-frequency treatment). He is also the President Elect for BBUGGSS. He also holds a position on the National Hiatal Hernia Surgical Registry Executive Committee. Professor Viswanath is also the Director of Medical Education for TTUGGS.
