Dr Raghu Sidaginamale

About

Mr Raghu Sidaginamale is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in primary hip and knee surgery as well as revision hip and knee surgery.

Mr Sidaginamale medical school at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, in the South of India. He then continued his post-graduate studies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. He then relocated to the UK where he continued his studies, working at East Lancashire Hospital, Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham and London Hospital,

Mr Sidaginamale has a keen interest in research and has committed his time to pursuing a PhD degree in bioengineering at Newcastle University. He also earned a Doctorate degree in hip replacement surgery, working closely with experts in the areas of arthroplasty, bioengineers, radiologists, histopathologists and the implant industry. As a result of this research he has assisted in the management of metal on metal total hip replacement patients.
