Mr Ashok Sakthivel is a Consultant Urologist with a specialist interest in Endourology. He provides care for complex stone procedures as well as upper tract interventions. Since accepting his Consultants post at The James Cook University Hospital in March 2013, Mr Sakthivel has developed a rapid access service for the ESWC, which ensures excellent and timely patient care. Mr Sakthivel has a vested interest in helping shape the medical staff of the future and is actively involved in the training of junior doctors.
