At Consultants Choice Clinic, we want you to feel prepared and at ease when attending your appointment. Below is everything you need to know ahead of your consultation.
Before You Arrive
- Appointment Confirmation
You will receive confirmation of your appointment via email or telephone. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance by calling +44 1642 573 713. - What to Bring
Please bring the following with you:
• A valid form of ID (passport or driver’s licence)
• Any referral letter (if applicable)
• Details of your medical insurance and authorisation code (if insured)
• A list of current medications
• Relevant medical records or previous scans (if available) - Payments
If you’re self-funding, we may take payment for your initial consultation in advance or on the day. We accept card or bank transfer—details will be shared when booking.
On the Day
- Arrival
Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Free parking is available on-site at Infinity House, Surtees Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3HR. - Checking In
Report to reception, where a member of our team will greet you and direct you to your consultant. - Consultation Format
Consultations may be in-person or by telephone/video (depending on what you booked). Your consultant will:
• Discuss your symptoms or concerns
• Review your medical history
• Recommend investigations or treatment if necessary
After Your Consultation
- Follow-Up Appointments
Your consultant may recommend further tests or a follow-up. Our Patient Liaison Team will help you schedule these. - Reports & Letters
You’ll receive a consultation letter summarising your visit. If you’d like this sent to your GP, please let us know during your visit. - Billing & Invoices
If any diagnostics or procedures are needed, our team will provide a clear breakdown of the costs or liaise with your insurer directly.
