Mr Khashaba is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon. He has a specialist interest in breast surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery and perineal reconstruction.

Mr Khashaba holds a Consultants Post at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. He obtained his Master’s degree from the University of Ain Shams in Cairo in 2008. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) having gained the FRCS(Plast). He is also a fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).

Mr Khashaba has gained experience in the cosmetic surgery field, by working in hospitals in Egypt and Kuwait.

Mr Khashaba’s has also spent time as a Breast Microsurgery Fellow at North Bristol NHS Trust. He has also worked as a Plastic Surgery Specialist Registrar at North Bristol NHS Trust, Countess of Chester hospital and the Manchester Royal Infirmary. He won the Chairman Award and the award for Excellence in Clinical Care from University Hospital North Durham in 2020.

Mr Khashaba has been involved with medical research and has contributed to scientific papers. Mr Khashaba continues to conduct clinical audits, clinical effectiveness programmes and has given presentations to his colleagues.

In his spare time, Mr Khashaba is a swimming official, enjoys running and participates in humanitarian missions across the globe.
