Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon – Hip & Knee Specialist
Mr Sidaginamale is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in hip and knee replacements, including robotic-assisted and rapid recovery techniques. He holds a substantive NHS post at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and provides private care at Woodlands Hospital, Darlington, and Consultants Choice Clinic.
He is passionately involved in national research initiatives, chief-investigator on a collaborative National Institute of Health and care Research (NIHR) portfolio study with ExplantLab, genetics to improve joint replacement outcomes, the ultimate aim is to further develop the genetic test to allow patients to be matched to the biomaterials most suited to them based on their DNA, something which will revolutionise patient care.
Combining surgical expertise with a strong research background, Mr Sidaginamale is committed to advancing care through innovation, collaboration, and a personalised approach to every patient.
